ANZACA Conference, 2024

ANZACA is delighted to announce that the 21st annual conference will be held from Tuesday 3rd to Thursday 5th of December 2024 in Dubbo NSW, in the beautiful Tubba-Gah Country of the Wiradjuri Nation.
The meeting theme is Inclusive Anatomy, and we will include sessions dedicated to rural and Indigenous Anatomy presentations.

We are pleased to announce our workshop leads:
- Dr Samuel Webster, Swansea University UK- How to Set Up and Run an Effective YouTube Channel for Anatomical Sciences Education
- Professor Michelle Lazarus, Monash University- The Invisibility Cloak: The influence of cultural hegemony, uncertainty tolerance, and cultural literacy on sustainable diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Dr Natalia Bilton and Dr Monique Pointon, CSU Dubbo and Port Macquarie- Creative teaching in anatomy in a regional setting
- Dr James Wickham, CSU Orange- Teaching anatomy to rural medical students using plastinated specimens.
- Ms Debbie Beahan, Nurse and Aboriginal Health Practitioner at NSW Health
Dubbo is a vibrant regional city on the banks of the majestic Macquarie River. It is well connected, with daily direct flights to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne (Essendon), Newcastle, and multiple regional towns in NSW. It is home to Taronga Western Plains Zoo, where the conference dinner will be held in the evening of Thursday 5 December.
